Nuremberg Laws: Nazi laws stripped Jews of citizenship and banned marriage between Jews and other Germans; immigration restrictions in other countries made leaving Germany difficult. By 1936, at least half of Germany's Jews were jobless, they lost the right to work as civil servants, journalists, teachers, etc. Even though conditions were worsening, a lot of jews decided to stay in Germany during Nazi rule. Many thought that conditions would improve with time, but they actually got worse.
